Research Area 1: Improved understanding of anthelmintic resistance mechanisms
We are seeking strategic partners to develop a helminth diagnostic or anthelmintic resistance genotyping platform together. We can offer design, development and manufacturing services for field-based diagnostic platforms. We are specialized in nucleic-acid-based diagnostic techniques such as PCR and LAMP. We have successfully developed and launched a point-of-care rapid COVID-19 test and several animal disease diagnostic tests. We have an ISO13485 certificate for quality-assured manufacturing of in vitro diagnostic devices and consumables. We also have a strong R&D team specializing in infectious diseases, genetic bioinformatics, biomaterials, and biomedical engineering. Our affordable diagnostic solution also comes with the following advantages: freeze-dried reagents for room-temperature storage, delivery of results within 30 minutes, comparable performance to real-time PCR, and elimination of the DNA extraction step.
