Chemical protein synthesis, synthetic vaccines, NMR, structure elucidation
Research Area 2: Generic technology platforms for producing novel and/or improved vaccines
I am looking for partners who are interested in development of vaccines against tick-borne diseases. We can chemically put antigenic peptides and parts of proteins on a molecular scaffold allow for multi-antigen presentation. It would be great if you would have animal models to test the synthetic vaccines or if you have antigens of interest to put on a molecular scaffold.
Of course, if you are interested in synthic vaccines against other types of animal diseases, you can contact me as well.

Our laboratory is equipped with all the facilities for chemical protein synthesis. We do have a 700 MHz NMR for structure elucidation of proteins and to investigate protein-protein interactions. We can synthesize multimeric peptides and proteins as well.
