Research Area 2: Generic technology platforms for producing novel and/or improved vaccines
We propose to use our proprietary drug delivery systems as a tool for designing nano-vaccines.
Our platform is based on nanoemulsions, superparamagnetic nanoparticles, core-sheeled NPs and other NP types if needed.
Ligands (antibodies, signal molecules, targeting and/or imaging ligands) can be anchored/immobilized to the NPs external core or within the NP matrix.
Any delivery route is possible as we use EMA/FDA approved actives and excipients.
Intelligent/smart delivery is also an option as we are already involved in a theranostic project (EU MSCA-SALSETH)
We are an R&D company focusing on nanomedicine and drug delivery systems. We are involved in several EU projects mainly oriented to AMR tackling at this stage.
We currently develop antibiotic replacers for animal health (artificial reproduction) and new highly potent spermicidal solutions.
We also investigate larvicidal properties of our different platforms.
Through the MSCA-RISE-SALSETH project, we participate in an EU network for intelligent drug delivery sytems using sensors and microfluidics .
